Police investigators on Long Island are attempting to locate and identify a woman who was caught on camera stealing a big-screen television from Walmart.
An alert was issued by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers for a woman who walked into Walmart on Vets Highway in Islandia at approximately 10:55 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, and walked out with a 65-inch TV without making an attempt to pay.
The television had an estimated value of approximately $480.
Anyone who has information regarding the woman, her whereabouts, or the larceny incident has been asked to contact Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section investigators by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or submitting an anonymous tip online.
